etch
OCTOBER 29, 2017
Etch was a concert event that took place on October 29, 2017 in Columbus, OH. Three of my original compositions were performed at The Clintonville Women's Club, and the concert was funded by many individual donors and local businesses in Columbus.
Former WOSU Classical 101.1 radio host, Boyce Lancaster, posted an article about the event. Follow the link below to read the article.
A 30-minute, four movement work titled, Etch, was premiered during this event. Etch was written for 18 Columbus musicians. I gathered this group of friends and colleagues together and wrote this large work for them. Below is a video of the 1st movement of the piece.
The premiere was recorded live in the venue, and those recordings are available to stream wherever you access your music. The audio was recorded by Mike Talanca and mixed by Todd Maki, who also conducted the performance.
