The title of this work came from the motor rhythm at the beginning of the piece that 'bounds' forward throughout. The majority of this music came from a piano improvisation of mine that contained some small imperfections. I decided to transcribe this improvisation, blemishes included, and make it the backbone of the piece. By doing so I was 'bound' to this transcription and composed around the aimlessly floating melodies and blemishes to create the end product.
